Weight Loss Journey 2013 Week 5 Day 30 RECAP

I have made an executive decision to make today Tuesday my off day instead of tomorrow Wednesday. I am a bit run down my muscles and body are fatigued and levels have been decreased clear signs of burnout. This will also put my abs every other day back on schedule. I slept pretty good that is until my son woke up at 2:15am and kept me up until 5am. I went to the bathroom and decided let me weigh myself and guess what I weigh 207lbs!!!!! It's not official but I'm sure my settled weight is 210 it's safe to say. The pic I posted is me working out yesterday. Breakfast I had a bowl of special knees berry cereal with whole milk. I did take my multivitamin. Lunch I had tuna fish with mayonnaise and water. A snack I had was a double cheeseburger from McDonalds and water. Dinner I had two slices of pizza with peppers and water. I'm so going to pay for this day tomorrow in the gym stay tuned!!!

Weight Loss Journey 2013 Week 5 Day 29 RECAP

I finally got up at the A$$ Crack of dawn to be at the gym at 5am. I did interval training at level 5 which was a mistake should have been level 7 still got a good sweat. Did the recumbent bike level 11 for 30 minutes. I did a 10 minute warmup and stretch and a five minute cool down. Breakfast I had Special K Red Berry Cereal with whole milk and lunch I had tuna fish with regular mayonnaise no bread just out of a bowl. I also had as a snack a handful of raisins and a cup of mango punch. I did my second cardio doing the bike got a little lazy and did level 10 and my heart rate was in my fat burning zone. Dinner I did horrible I had a sweet tea a double cheese burger and a onion cheddar burger. It was purely a cost choice sad but true was good though. Weight Loss Journey Week 5 Day 28 RECAP

This morning was my weigh in I'm proud of it losing 3.5lbs this week. The pic I have is my starting weight to now. I see small differences, this month will be dramatic. This morning I had Special K Red Berry Cereal and 4 fig newtons and water. Lunch I had a pint of beef fried rice and a 24oz can of ice tea. My first cardio was done late in the day. I did the treadmill, elliptical and recumbent bike. Elliptical I did interval training for 30 minutes and the bike I did 15 minutes and the treadmill I did 15 minutes at 3.5mph. I felt a little tired but I still did the level that I normally do. My second cardio I did the recumbent bike for 60 minutes. I'm still feeling a little weak so i did 15 minutes at level 9 and 45minutes level 10. Stay tuned ❤

So I'm down 3.5 lbs this week starting weight: 222.5lbs now I weigh 208.5lbs. BodyFat went down .3% to 38.5 was 38.8% BMI went from 34.3% to 32.2%

Weight Loss Journey 2013 Week 4 Day 27 RECAP

During my overnight shift I had a cup of chicken noodle soup and later had a bowl of Special K red berry cereal. I did my interval training with the stair master and 30 minutes of the recumbent bike. Lunch I had a slice if pizza with green peppers with flavored water. Feeling tired today, weigh in and measurements will be recorded tomorrow wish me luck. Snack I a banana a few slices of cheese and five fig newtons with water. Dinner I had two slices of pizza and a can of Pepsi. My second cardio was terrible I normally do level 11 for 60 minutes but I was really burnt out and physically couldn't do it so instead of leaving I did 60 minutes level 6. Stay tuned. Today's workout gets a thumbs down!!!

Weight Loss Journey Week 4 Day 26 RECAP

Got a late start to the morning again! I got to the gym by 7am it doesn't look like I will get three workouts in by Sunday BooHoo! I did not eat dinner last night since I had the Chinese food. I did sixty minutes on the bike level 11. It feels like a good level and I am breaking a sweat and its perfectly challenging. Bbreakfast I had four slices of Swiss cheese and a bowl of red Berry's Special K cereal. I'm thinking about doing the Special K 2 week challenge. Lunch I had a 24 bottle of propel water a little watermelon and a banana and a few slices of Swiss cheese. Again there was a problem with my second cardio, friday rush hour traffic makes it impossible for me to get to the ct gym on time. I think from now on i will workout in yonkers and commute at six with less traffic. Dinner I had half a grilled chicken cesear flatbread 24 oz of flavored water and a small bowl of vegetable fried rice. So for SURE three cardios tomorrow! Stay Tuned!

Weight Loss Journey Week 4 Day 25 RECAP

This morning again a late start but I plan on doing three cardio bouts! Look Out! this morning I did an hour of interval training so this other two workouts I do will be just bike workouts Yahoo! I did the elliptical starting out at level 5 for thirty minutes to easy the level 6 for 15 then level 7 for the last 15! I also did abs, Breakfast I had a buttered roll and water. Lunch I relapsed I bought my lunch special I didn't eat it all and they brought me a two liter soda when I wanted a can. I drank 1/2 and gave it to my mom to hide for my brother. So this Sunday no special meal for me and I most definitely have to do two more cardio bouts today. Disappointed in the fact I gave in. Damn Szechuan chicken! i have to Forgive and move on. My second cardio was excellent I did the bike for 75 minutes and had a great sweat at level 11. No third workout I was too pooped. I'm pretty sure my settled weight is 212. Feel bad for the relapse but tomorrow is a new day. Stay Tuned!

Weight Loss Journey 2013 Week 4 Day 24 RECAP

During my overnight shift I was extremely sleepy. I had a Milky Way bar a cup of chicken noodle soup and water. Breakfast I had a buttered roll with a banana along with water. Today is my off day but I want to go to the gym to make up for some lost workouts. Lunch I had a leftover slice of Pizza with water. Dinner i had a pint of beef fried rice with a 12oz can of coke. I plan on working out three times tomorrow first workout is 5am. Stay tuned.

Weight Loss Journey Week 4 Day 23 RECAP

This morning around 6am I had a bowl of Special K cereal with whole milk during my overnight shift I had a banana and a cup of tea along with water. Lunch I had two slices of pizza and a 12oz can of coke. My cardio I did really late at 5pm I won't to planet fitness did the recumbent bike for 60 minutes 30 minutes level 10 and 30 level 11 New Increase! Dinner I had a slice of pizza with peppers and water. I did my second cardio interval training then the bike. Needed sleep so I mapped for about three hours . Weight Loss Journey Week 4 Day 22 RECAP

Late night during my overnight shift I had a cup of tea, water and two bags of chips. I did my interval training cardio stair master and bike I did a 10 minute warmup and five minute cool down this morning good workout the stair-master is getting easier got a good sweat! (You can tell by my pic) Breakfast I had a buttered roll a small piece of steak and a banana, with water. Lunch I had two slices of pizza and a small 12oz can of coke (whoops). Dinner I had a chicken Quesadia with a bottle of water. My second cardio did not happen I went to go to the gym but the 5pm traffic makes it impossible to get to Norwalk on time. So I plan on doing three workouts tommorrow and double up on wednesday which is my off day or do the off day two workouts and three workouts on wed or thursday since im off from work. This missed cardio will be made up. Stay tuned I did snack on a few grapes as well. NO MORE CRACKERS

Weight Loss Journey Week 4 Day 21 RECAP

So I am totally Disgusted at the fact that my weigh is up two pounds. I am confident I did not gain two pounds and sure it has to do with the fact that I lost eight pounds the prior week. I am moving in the right direction although its still annoying, and shakes my confidence a bit. This morning I went stright home and did my cardio around 2pm I had a bowl of shredded wheat with whole milk for breakfast did the easier cardio on the bike Level 9 for thirt minutes and level 10 for thirty minutes burning about 500 calories and I did a 10 minute warm up and five minute cooldown. I also did abs at the end. Lunch was my gift to myself the szechewan chicken with beef fried rice and a 12oz can of pepsi. Now I just have to make sure I dont cheat the rest of the week. I have a defecit of two cardio hours. I will make them up on Wednesday my off day. I owe two interval workouts. I also realized that the picture of those graham crackers that I commomly eat through the night at work are 60 calories #nobueno. So I will never eat those again. Dinner I had a turkey sandwich with light mayo just turkey and bread with a small apple juice. I did not get to do my second cardio I was too sleepy. Stay tuned. Weight Loss Jouney 2013 Week 3Day 19 RECAP

Today was a little rough. I am anxious about my weigh in tomorrow. This morning I did my prework workout instead of the harder interval which I had planned to do later but did not due to lack of sleep. I ran alot of errands by the time I got home it was 10am and dealing with Jayden I slept only three hours. I dont feel that tired but I knew it would not be benficial to try to workout a second time with only two hours of sleep. Breakfast I had a banana and a buttered roll with water. Lunch I had three slices of pizza. (YES three) with peppers and water. So no dinner for a snack I did have a cup of coffee and a few crackers. So stay tuned.

Weight Loss Journey 2013 Week 3 Day 18 RECAP

So I am starting to feel a little better I did end up doing my cardio. I did my second low to moderate intensity bike workout instead of the stair-master interval. First workout I did at work level 6 and 7 thirty minutes of each! Not bad since I'm not feeling 100 percent and had all of two hours of sleep yesterday. Breakfast I had a buttered roll and a banana with a bottle of Orange Juice, lunch I had a turkey sandwich with cheese a 20 oz strawberry soda with a small bag of cheese doodles i had some water but didn't hit the water consumption out of the park the past two days. I did my second cardio with the stair-master interval then the bike at level 7. Felt good dinner I had a bowl of Special K red berry then worked. Stay tuned

Weight Loss Journey 2013 Week 3 Day 18 RECAP

What a rough day! My son still has a cold and I'm sick too now. My car exhaust is fixed. I did have a earlier in the night a banana and a few crackers and a cup of tea. 1/2 a bowl of Special K with red berries. Cardio this am was harder than normal because I have come down with a cold. I won't do a night cardio but I will try back at it in the AM we will see how I feel. Breakfast I had steak and scrambled eggs I cheated and had a Dunkin donuts sausage cheese croissant lunch I skipped lunch. Dinner i had two slices if pizza. Weight Loss Journey 2013 Week 3 Day 17 RECAP

So glad I have the day off! My body needs rest. Early breakfast I had a banana and water and mid morning had a bowl of apple jacks with milk. My car needs to go into the shop so I will take the train and bus into work. Do my cardio tomorrow morning then bring my car in. My baby is a little better today❤ Lunch I had two slices of pizza and a 12oz can of caffeine free root beer soda (notice the soda slipping?). Dinner I plan a salad and a meal and to have a Special K cereal as backup in the overnight with a piece of fruit. Cardio at work as soon as I'm done with the overnight is in the plans. First time back on the stair master I'm sure I will have to bump up the level. I also noticed that walking to the train was effortless. picture of me waiting for the train. Weigh Loss Journey Week 3 Day 16 RECAP

So I'm at the gym at the asscrack of dawn I had a bottle of water a slice if American cheese and three tootsie rolls to get me started. I am anxiously awaiting my off day tomorrow. I need to put my car in the shop and my baby has a cold life stinks today! It is also one of this days where I feel like its useless to try I have so far to go. But! I will press on I can't get to my goal if i stop now. Morning cardio was great! I did the elliptical random level 6 (first time) at that level then did the recumbent bike for thirty minutes level 9 I also did a 10 minute warm up light stretch and five minute cool down on the bike. Feeling mentally better after this workout . Breakfast I had a bowl of Special K red berry cereal with while milk and lunch I had a 1/2 of pound of bakery cookies and a turkey sandwich on a roll with a can of Pepsi. Look at least I didn't have two slices of pizza. LOL I will bump 1/2 my second cardio to level 10 to help offset my extra food and don't forget I fell asleep and missed dinner twice this week. Weight Loss Journey 2013 Week 3 Day 15 RECAP

This morning I got a late start and worked out at 8am instead of 5am. I guess my body needed the additional rest, I also feel bloated from my Chinese food from the lunch I had yesterday. Today I am a little weak so I did my low to moderate cardio and will do the interval later. So I did 60 minutes recumbent bike at level 9 I did a better warm up and cool down and I need to focus on stretching pre and post workout. Today feels like a good day I'm not totally hating workouts like I said for me it takes two weeks to shake the cob webs. Lunch I had a cheese sandwich with water (someone ate all my turkey). Second cardio was a disaster after the Boston bombing I was spent I did a 10 minute warmup on 15 minutes if my interval and left the gym my body needs rest and I just have to make it toy off day wed left the gum early #not feeling it Salad no chicken for dinner then Bed Stay tuned ❤

Weight Loss Journey 2013 Week 3 Day 14 RECAP

So I'm completely proud of myself this week. Eight lb. weight loss is amazing, I don't want that too many times because the faster you lose it the faster it comes back. This early AM I had a banana and a water I did my cardio 30 Minutes Elliptical Level 5 and then life cycle bike for 30 minutes level 9. Breakfast I had a large bowl of Special K red berry cereal. I also had two large slices of cheese and three tootsie rolls. Lunch I had my much awaited present after a weigh-in Szechwan chicken with beef fries rice and a 12 oz can of coke. I didn't eat all of the chicken and I don't intent to but it was good. Later I drank more water and my second workout of the day I did the recumbent bike for 60 minutes at level 9 dinner I had a grilled chicken cesaer salsa. Tomorrow I will try to be better at the vitamin.

So I'm totally starving had a decent amount of sleep and want to eat and drink something but rather weigh in before I eat something on a totally empty stomach. So I now weigh 210! Amazing I'm sure it's not a settled weight but I will take it.

Weight Loss Journey Week 2 Day 13 Recap

That is a face of YUCK for a 7am cardio workout on a SATURDAY last night for dinner I had two slices of pizza with water. This early AM I had a banana and tomorrow is my week two weigh in my period is practically gone I hope it doesn't affect my weight. I am already starting to feel better and see a few SMALL changes. My first workout of the day I did the elliptical at random level 4 then did the recumbent bike level 9 for 30 minutes Breakfast I had Special K Cereal with red berries and a few slices of Swiss cheese lunch I had a turkey sandwich on a roll with American cheese and water. My second workout was the life cycle recumbent bike level 9 for sixty minutes. I totally was not feeling the second workout if it wasn't for a weigh in tomorrow I probably would have stopped at 30 minutes. I have gotten great sleep the past two days since I'm off for six days. I missed dinner because I fell asleep early

So I joined Planet Fitness I worked out today there I did my interval training on elliptical random for 30 minutes level 4 the recumbent bike level 9 manual for thirty minutes. Weight Loss Journey 2013 Week 2 Day 11 Recap

Well finally an awaited day off from working out and I am off for six days from work. Breakfast I had a buttered roll with water and lunch I had the best turkey sandwich in a roll with water. Today is my birthday so I did have a little chips and dip. I joined planet fitness for my off six days and I got the membership I can go to any gym. Dinner I plan to have a Cesar salad with water still no vitamin taken but the night is young. Stay tuned ❤

Weight Loss Journey 2013 Week 2 Day 10 Recap

So Starting with last night during my overnight shift I had a 15oz cup of noodle soup some saltine crackers as well as pleny of water. I also had a turkey on wheat sandwich along with a banana. Morning I did my 30 minutes of interval training and did 30 minutes of extra cardio to make for lost cardio. So my backlogged cardio is 30 minutes. Severly low on sleep got my period which normally makes me gain weight between 2-5lbs. We will see during weigh in. Breakfast I had a buttered roll with water and lunch I had a few ribs (very little meat) with a salad and balsamic vinegar nothing but lettuce and shredded cheese. I drank water. For a snack I had a special k red berry bowl of cereal with whole milk. I also had a small box of dots candies (my period talking) didn't have to do evening cardio technically wed is my day off I owe no cardio. Dinner I had ribs again with water stay tuned...

Weight Loss Journey 2013 Week 2 Day 9 Recap

I switched my morning cardio due to lack of sleep to my fat burning workout and will do interval train in the evening. I did the bike added a new level 1/2 way through the workout. Breakfast I had a buttered roll and a piece of steak with water. Lunch I had a Sicilian slice and a plain slice with water. I did great with my water consumption still forgot to take the daily multi-vitamin. Had a banana as a snack and no dinner yet. Still got a small amount of sleep. Night I did interval training on the stair-master and 30 minutes level six on the bike. My back logged workouts are now down to an hour stay tuned

Well Today there will be an increase of intensity for my Cardio I have been doing the recumbent bike for 60 minutes level 5. Today I Did 30 minutes level 5 thirty minutes level 6. I have to bump up the whole hour to Level 6 for sixty minutes. #gettingstronger

Weight Loss Journey Week 2 Day 8 Recap

So yesterday I had for breakfast a buttered roll (honestly has way too much butter) with a OJ and lunch I had a Sicilian slice and a regular slice with water and dinner I had a turkey sandwich on wheat with water my cardio in the morning brought my cardio deficit down to 30 because I've been so sleepy I have been sleepy driving I have to focus on getting better sleep. Also I only got two to three hours of sleep so I didn't get to do my fat burning cardio. So now my cardio deficit is one hour 30 minutes Boo! Doing excellent on water consumption need to focus on taking my daily multi vitamin

So staring from this morning cardio I did 60 minutes 30 min stair-master interval and 30 min recumbent bike so now I just owe 30 min. I will do another 30 because I have been 15 minutes later twice for my pre work workouts. Breakfast I had a buttered roll with oj lunch I had two slices of pizza with peppers and water dinner I had my special meal that I can have I. Sundays after weigh Szechwan chicken WTH beef fried rice and water, past night I also messed up eating a 400 calorie apple pie that was stupid I also had crackers pretzels and a cereal bar. Looking back on my first week I have to work on doing better on my pre workout workouts and I am happy withy water intake later in the night I did my pre work workout bike for 45 minutes

Weightloss Journey 2013 Week 1 Day 6 Recap

Sleep is a thing that has escaped me the past few days but I'm still determined to make it work. The pad three days I'm lucky if I got 3 hours. This morning I did my stair-master level three 30 minute interval at level 3 it didn't suck balls. I am on my double up since my pre work workouts have been non existent so I did 30 additional minutes o the recumbent bike. So I'm not at only a sixty minute deficit for cardio. Tomorrow is my first weigh in I'm not disappointed because I'm giving myself the two weeks to shake out the cob webs. This morning I had a bagel gel with cream cheese with oj. Well in the AM I did do an hour of cardio 30 minute recumbent bike 30 minutes stairmaster in doing the extra 30 minutes to make up for the lack of prework workouts I barely got three hours of sleep because my son has one year dr appointment I ate a buttered roll for breakfast with oj lunch I had a nasty old slice of meatball pizza with a ginger ale dinner I had at 11 pm I had a turkey on wheat and a small apple juice. The same problem arose that I wast able to get that pre work workout in. I have to make up an hour and half of missed cardio

Weightloss Journey 2013 Week 1 Day 4 Recap

So today I had to make a decision to not do my second cardio workout due to the lack of sleep since I worked overnight. I plan to double up meaning normally after work I do a 30 minute cardio so I plan to do an hour tomorrow morning once I get off from work. I work at 11pm tomorrow so there will be a chance to sleep. I was concerned about this happening.Spending time with my son after work plus factoring in sleep and daily activities will prove difficult but we will work it out. I work eight days in a row to get six days off so it makes it worth while. this is night 2 of 8. So lunch I had a can of diet coke and a sicilian slice and a slice of pizza. Dinner I am proud of myself I went to the hospital caferteria and got a egg salad sandwich to make it through the night and a kellogs cereal in case I get hungry. So today I feel bad but sleep was of utter importance. I did great on my water consuption I have over 64oz of water consumed and its only 8pm. Yeah!!!!

Total off day and I needed it. I reached my water goal forgot to take my multiple vitamin. Breatfast I had two buttered rolls and Orange Juice lunch I had a sicilian slice and regular with a can diet coke. overnight I worked I had a turkey on wheat bread with a hand ful of grahm and regular crackers. I get off my overnight I plan to do 30 minutes of interval training to replace jumprope and later come in before my night shift to do more cardio. Overnight drank 20oz+ of water

The next seven days I work consecutive nights I have the opportunity for more cardio because if the hospital gym but lowered opportunity for sleep. I have to find the balance. Weightloss Journey Week 1 Day two RECAP

Pretty proud of myself after I jumped rope this morning even though it was cold I took Jayden out for a walk. The sad part is I have to put sunscreen on I had a reaction to the sun since I'm allergic it only affected my hands. Breakfast I finished the toquitos about six or seven of them then lunch I had a plain slice and a Sicilian slice with water dinner I had a pint of beef fries rice and lemonade tomorrow I go food shopping so my food choices Willie better I also had a can if diet coke. I am proud that I made my water goal. But now I pee all day boo! Tomorrow's keep up the water intake. The bright side I'm off tomorrow for workouts #halleloo. I also have to have workout clothes for Thursday am when I get off from work

Oh Lawd the Soreness and Day 1 Recap

So I took a walk with my son in his stroller and my mom. I jumped ripe for five rounds and I woke up totally sore. The things I failed on today were eating better and drinking water. I did Take my vitamin. I had 12oz if water had soda and iced tea but I did cut down on how much breakfast I had two sausage mcgriddles lunch two slices of dominoes pizza and same thing for dinner. Tuesday's goals jumprope five Rounds and walk with my mom. I have had good sleep. Off work Tuesday and better water consumption

Weightloss Journey Day 1 April Fools and this is Not a JOKE!

Well I can't get over the fact that I have a blog such as this. I have spiraled out of control to a all new heaviest weight. Being a former pesonal trainer and athlete this is totally depressing. I now have a one year old son and I want to be here for him as long as I can. So I am doing this for me but for him too.
