Weight Loss Journey 2013 Week 17 Day 121 RECAP

So yesterday I went complete and utter H.A.M. With my eating for the ADR two days as well as hit my cardio in the ballpark. I could not help to cheat and see where I was weight wise, so what did I do? I hopped on that bad boy this morning, keep in mind it's Wednesday and my weigh in was this Sunday at 195lbs with a hefty goal this week of getting to 190lbs. See the pic below in this blog to see where I'm at. Today was slow going to day the least. It took me a long while to get my butt up and at em'. This morning I walked almost five miles with my son and mom. Then I didn't head out to the gym until 4:30pm. I did 105 minutes of the elliptical. Breakfast I had a Special K cereal with while milk and a Special K chocolate shake. I'm so weak from yesterday's workouts. Lunch I went in. I had 3/4 of my meal Szechuan chicken with fried rice combo and a 12pz can of Pepsi.dinner I had a Chobanni blueberry yogurt . I am done working out for today. Stay Tuned....


Weight Loss Journey 2013 Week 17 Day 120 RECAP

Today I really have to say that I am proud of myself, I did great food wise for the past few days as well as hit my cardio out of the ballpark. I hope that by today I'm am half way to my goal of 190. The only little concern is that I am not consuming ENOUGH calories and my body will store fat instead of release it. I also fine tuned my cardio to make sure my heart rate is on the lower end of endurance to ensure that I am using body fat instead of other substrates like sugar etc. here are pics of my cardios I did throughout the day. #BOOM Stay Tuned....

Weight Loss Journey 2013 Week 16 Day 115 RECAP

Today was a rough day. I'm am so fatigued and sore from beasting it the sat few days. I had no time to do cardio this AM my mom had a Dr. appointment so I had to go straight home to my son. I am also on a sleep deficit. So this morning I did  walk to the train this morning that takes a half hour and burns about 200 calories or so. I plan on going food shopping for myself for this week and plan to forge a huge amount of cardio in as well. I do hope I did enough to make my 195 goal. Last night during the overnight I made huge mistakes as  far as calories. I ate 12 golden Oreo cookies and a 12oz can of coke as well as two 8oz cans of Pepsi. That sucked almost 1000 calories from my food and on a 1500 calorie plan stinks. To help offset I had a fruit salad for breakfast and had a Chobanni Greek yogurt for lunch with a Sobe life water. My second walk basically duplicates my earlier one. so walked a little over 3 miles and burned about 420 calories. My cardio i modifed as well the stairmaster i shaved twenty minutes off my second workoutnand at times reduced the level. im still happynwith my training for today. I hope the walks and my night workout give me enough. Stay Tuned.....

Weight Loss Journey Week 16 Day 114 RECAP

Today was a little hard I wasn't sore necessarily but very tired. After my overnight shift I did find it hard to do my am workout. I opted to do it later. I even bummed a ride to the train station, so I lost the potential calories there. While at home struggling to get some sleep, I finally got off my duff and worked out. I started with Taebo Boot Camp CardioInferno  which was much easier today then I did a new workout by FitStar which is free called Short Circuit. I actually paid for a get lean 12 week program. I will somehow add it to all the other stuff I do. Lastly I did 30 Day Shred Level 1 since I'm sore weak today and did all the other stuff. I did manage to get a nap. I did cheat and weigh myself this morning after yogurt for breakfast and no cardio I was 196.4 I don't want to jinx myself but its almost safe to say ill hit my goal this week. Next week I'm on vacation and if I hit my goal, my goal will be to be 190 next week. I plan to go to the gym twice a day as well as doing home workouts and eating stellar. My car progress is better got a new car battery today and my car started. So next week I will get the oil changes and fluids catch back up as well as get a cap for my coolant that is missing. My second cardio i did the elliptical for 85 minutes. now with my HR Monitor i can see how these machines overestimated calorie burns. Depressing to say the least. Pictures are what I did today. Weight Loss Journey 2013 Week 16 Day 113 RECAP

So today I totally smashed my workouts. I started out with a early am walk with my. Other and son. Walked nearly four miles took about an hour. Once I got home I did my TaeBo BootCamp inferno and then did FitStar. I skipped the level 2 thirty day shred since I burned about 500 calories with the walk and m total workout time was about two and half hours. I figured that was enough. Breakfast I had a Chobanni Pineapple Yogurt and a G2 low calorie Gatorade. Lunch I had my Chinese food is time I changed the rice from beef fried to regular fried and had Szechuan chicken, I only ate half and gave the rest to my brother, I did have a 12 oz can of Pepsi. Later I walked a little over 1.5 miles to get to work, took about 30 minutes and 200 calories had dinner at the hospital I had a cheeseburger on wheat bread and a banana and a SoBe Life Water. I rested for about a hour then hit e gym. I did a ten minute warm up on the recumbent bike and then did 95 minutes on the stair-master. Here are pictures of my progress today. Weight Loss Journey 2013 Week 16 Day 112 RECAP

Today was a truly great day, workout wise. The morning kind of sucked when I went to my car to find a boot on it from unpaid tickets. EEEK! Took care of that. This morning I did TaeBo BootCamp cardio Inferno then did legs and core through FitStar app on my iPad lastly I did level 2 on 30 day shred which is hard. 
Breakfast I had Chobanni black Cherry Yogurt with a G2 low calorie Gatorade. Lunch I had two slices of pizza and a 23oz Arizona iced Tea. Dinner I had a pint of beef fried rice and another G2 Gatorade. I was surprisingly under my calories for the day. My second workout I was pooped out I did 90 minutes of the elliptical and was super sore from yesterday's workout. Stay Tuned.....
I also cheated and weighed myself 197.6. My goal is 195lbs this week, looks like I may make it ❤

Weight Loss Journey 2013 Week 15 Day 111 RECAP

So my new dilemma is that I have bumped up my cardio by a hour a day. The problem is that it may bump my appetite to a stratosphere that I'm better off with 2-3 hours of cardio a day instead of 4. I'm still not sure because T.O.M. Just left and I have craving issues with that. So we will see. I killed it wit cardio today. I've been going to the Planet Fitness on Fordham road (maybe I will meet a cute guy). I have also bumped up my cardio level to 14. Yahoo! I have also stepped up to level two on thirty day shred. Skipped breakfast had the Chinese dood combo as my cheat meal and had yogurt. Stay tuned..... 

Weight Loss Journey 2013 Week 15 Day 110 RECAP

Today was jay as tough as Thursday, we have a high heat index and was difficult to get two workouts in today. I did want a change of scenery so I went to the planet fitness on Fordham Road in the Bronx. I took the train. Breakfast I skipped today. Lunch I had a pint of beef fries rice with a 23 oz of Arizona iced tea. Dinner I had a chicken cutlet but was still hungry so again pint of bee fried rice and a 120z can of soda. Cardio I did 100 minutes on the elliptical. You will see in the picture how many calories burned. You can see by my diet how my period affects what I eat. Stay tuned...

Weight Loss Journey 2013 Week 15 Day 109 RECAP

This Thursday has special significance. It's day eight of eight and I get six days off from work. This week has been brutal from the simple fact of the high heat index, I've managed to make it through and I'm happy for that. I pray that my car will be fixed after my vacation. It will allow me to rest better. Although I have had to commute early I did better on sleep during these eight days. This morning is also day two of T.O.M. I'm fighting tooth and nail to keep my weight down but these increased workouts have made me hungry. I have moved up my daily calories to 1500 from 1250. Breakfast I had a Greek yogurt and watermelon. Lunch I had 1-1/2 slices of pizza and a soda and dinner I had a pint of beef fried rice and a Gatorade.  This picture is my cardio burn for today. Weight Loss Journey 2013 Week 15 Day 106 RECAP

Today was my official Going H.AM. Cardio workouts. I first got off from an overnight did a 10 minute warm-up then 90 minutes on the elliptical level 13 using the random program then walked 1.60 miles from work to the train. Slept briefly. Walked back to work 1.6 miles then did another 60 minutes on the elliptical manual level 13.  I really have to find a way to not eat so much food during my overnight shift that is what is sucking up my calories. Breakfast I had a chobanni yogurt and a SoBe life water. Lunch I had two slices of pizza with peppers and a 20 oz Pepsi dinner I had the left over slice of pizza and another 20 oz Pepsi. The pictures you see are the calories I burned today about 2300 or so not bad Stay tuned...

Weight Loss Journey 2013 Week 14 Day 104 RECAP

I sit here baffled that I have been working out for over 100 days. This fitness stuff is now a part of my life. I have made some good strides but I can do so much better. Now that I am starting Phase II which is more cardio and weight training. GOIN H.AM. is my new motto. Today you will see a clip of how much cardio I have done today. I ideally wanted to add 30 minutes to each cardio so the total would have been four hours. I only slept three hours so today it wasn't feasible. Tommorrow also I plan on going to my gym in Yonkers since I have to come straight home. Since Sunday is my moms's church day. I am sorry for the brief leave but I was off last week. I will also try to put snapshots of my food summary for the day. The next 90 days should be life changeing for me. Stay tuned....

Weight Loss Journey 2013 Week 13 Day 95 RECAP

Today is one of those days where I feel like I have plateaued and I have been getting sad. I am trying to stop and look how far I have come so far and not focus on the slow progress. I will revamp my cardio and nutrition once I am off work in a day or so. I need to totally revamp the next two weeks. The exercise is not boring but I need to challenge my self more and get out of my comfort zone. It seems that my weight has been hovering within 2lbs up or down the past three or four weeks and it's annoying. I want to be in the 190's approaching the 180's by now. The next 14 days, Im going HAM to drop these next 10lbs. Breakfast and lunch I had a cheese and crackers platter for dinner I had a Mcdouble Cheeseburger. I walked the 1.5 to work also did 65 minutes if the elliptical at level 13. Stay Tunned......

Weight Loss Journey 2013 Week 13 Day 94 RECAP

Well this week I decided to redo the Special K challenge. I had good success with it and its a no brainier when it comes to nutrition for the day. I also have to make sure I take my vitamin. I have forgotten the past three days or so. This is again a tiring day slept about three hours. But I got a little house work done. So I got yet another ticket on my car. I have to take care of them before the dreaded boot! Breakfast I had a buttered roll and a small container of orange juice. I walked the three miles in total to and from work. Lunch I had a McDouble cheeseburger and a sweet tea. Dinner I had at work a chicken Quesidia and a small bowl of vegetable rice. (Which was so good). For my cardio I did the elliptical trainer random level 12 for 15 minutes and level 13 for 45 minutes. I could have done a little better on water consumption and slowed down on the soda intake. The snacking at night at work has to be curved. Two more night shifts then I am off for six days and I will be working out three times a day for six days. Weight Loss Journey 2013 Week 13 Day 93 RECAP

This Sunday I really tried to eat light for my weigh in and I overslept so my second cardio did not happen today. I just calculated the three mile walk in total that I have to do to and from work, breakfast I had a peach and lunch I had a blueberry yogurt. Dinner I had at work I had grilled sirloin steak with a 20oz soda. I had a hard time at work especially because of the fatigue. I have not been getting ain't if sleep three hours at most. Fatigue is playing a real factor. At least I have three more nights on then I am off for six days. Yahoo! Stay tuned...
