Weight Loss Journey 2013 Week 9 Day 59


 So yesterday Started my revamp in training. I have added the ARC trainer as my interval machine. I'm doing Interval 2:1 at level 4. When I am at work it will be the Stairmaster. My low to moderate cardio is the Ellipitical Trainer Level 10. Sweat is heavy and feeling great! I plan on doing 30 Day Shred Starting on Saturday the 1st. Breakfast I had a Special K Protein Shake and lunch I ha two slices of pizza and a can of ginger ale. For a snack I had a smart ones Salisbury steak with Mac and cheese in it. Did great on water and took my vitamin. Had a great holiday took my son to his first parade pic below. Stay Tuned... Happy Memorial Day

Weight Loss Journey 2013 Week 8 Weigh-In

So I'm completely done with the special K challenge I lost exactly like they claim to of lost which is kind of weird because I've added exercise so I thought I would maybe i would even double what the claims would be.  I did lose double the amount of inches for what they were claiming so I guess that's okay. I will stick with some of the philosophies like those protein shakes and the serial during my everyday routine. I could've done a lot better on my food if you look at my journal on Instagram I did eat Chinese food as my one sensible meal too many times this week. I did pretty good on my cardio but like I do on average I missed two workouts.  My specific goal next week is to not miss any workouts. My current weight is 209.4 which means I lost 2 pounds exactly this week which isn't bad. I inserted a picture of what I look like for my starting weight what I looked like four weeks ago and eight weeks ago. I noticed some changes in my waist on but I still have a long way to go. So I will add new cardio workouts my new workouts will be the new Cybex machine and the stair-master for interval training and my cardio will be the elliptical trainer.  Plus I will do 30 day shred for 30 days with Jillian Michaels. I joined MyFitnessPal online so add me my account name is Faithwebster.

Weight Loss Journey 2013 Week 8 Day 57 Special K Challenge Day RECAP

Welll today is my last day of the special K challenge. I did pretty good except for the last two days so I feel like It was a special K challenge for 12 days instead of 14 days. I'm looking forward to tomorrow's weigh-in. Tomorrow is a big weigh-In where I do all my measurements and I'm a little nervous about my weight. I did the work for cardio and I start a new challenge tomorrow which is the 6 Weeks ABS. Today was a good day breakfast I had a special K protein shake with a special case snap which was the pastry crisps. Lunch I had a pint of beef fried rice with a 23 ounce can of Arizona ice tea. Dinner I had a few slices of Swiss cheese and I plan on having my protein shake the special K milk chocolate again. My first workout this morning I did the company bike for 75 minutes at level 12 and then the later I did the elliptical trainer for 45 minutes random at level nine. Wish me luck tomorrow. Weight Loss Journey 2013 Week 8 Day 56 Special K Challenge Day 13

This morning started off pretty good I went to the gym I did 75 minutes on the elliptical trainer at the new level 9. I did purchase three pairs of dumbbells 3 pound 5 pound and 8 pound dumbbells for my new challenge that starts on Sunday the 30 day shred with Jillian Michael's. I also join MyFitnessPal online I downloaded the app onto my iPad and iPhone it monitors your calories your food and exercises that you completed it seems pretty good and you can add friends that you know.  Trying to erase all the mistakes that I made yesterday I had a protein shake special K milk chocolate shake for breakfast lunch I had a pint of beef fried rice and a propel water. Snack I had a Nathan's hotdog and small soda and a jumbo pretzel and for dinner I had another special K milk chocolate protein shake. My second cardio i did the life fitness elliptical trainer level 12 for 60 minutes. Got a good nights sleep last night and I plan to take my multiple vitamin and tomorrow is my last workout of this old routine switch everything on Sunday and start my new challenge 30 day shred and I'm also going to be finished with the Special K Challenge. Sunday I have to do Weigh-in, full measurements, body fat, girth measurements and take pictures. Stay tuned…

Weight Loss Journey 2013 Week 8 Day 54 Special K Challenge Day 11 RECAP

Well today I was crazy tired but I still managed to do my cardio workout this morning. I switched it up and did the Elliptical Trainer Level 9 (I bumped it up to) for 30 minutes then did the recumbent bike for 30 minutes level 8. I got moderate sleep. Breakfast I had a smart ones three cheese ziti and I had the same for dinner. Dinner I had a Special K cereal with whole milk. My second cardio went great. Stay Tuned...

Weight Loss Journey 2013 Week 8 Day 53 Special K Challenge Day 10 RECAP

I truly have to say that I felt like the weather that was today. GREAT! On my overnight shift I had a large cup of chicken noodle soup and a hand ful of potato chips. This morning I actually got to go the gym which I was worried that I was barely able to get one workout but actually got two. This morning I did the elliptical Trainer for 30 minutes Random Level 8 (should be bumped up to level 9). then I did the recumbent bike for 30 minutes level 12. Got a excellent sweat. Breakfast I had a Special K cereal and a few special k chips. Lunch I had a pint of beef fried rice with a 23oz can of Iced Tea and Dinner so far I had a salad but I have the Special K cereal for dinner, I just didnt eat it yet. My second cardio I used the gym at work and did the recumbant bike for 60 minutes level 8. Stay tuned...

Weight Loss Journey 2013 Week 8 Day 52 Special K Challenge Day 9 RECAP


During my overnight shift last night I had a large cup of chicken noodle soup and a hand full of Swedish fish candy. I did 60 minutes on the elliptical trainer to make up for the 30 minutes I missed yesterday. Breakfast I started with a light snack I had a banana and a bottle of orange juice breakfast I had a bowl of Special K cereal with whole milk. Lunch I had a smart one lasagna with meat sauce and water. After further review, realized that I missed a meal  and I have to make sure that get enough calories throughout the day. Ended up only doing that one cardio I really needed sleep I will use my off day Wednesday to make up for the missed workout. My goal is to have no missed workouts. Stay Tuned...

Weight Loss Journey 2013 Week 8 Day 51 Special K Challenge Day 8 RECAP

Today was pretty quiet. I again opted to go home first instead of working out then going home, I have to do the same tomorrow. I have to ensure my workout is sooner than later. Because if I wait too long they collide with each other and there is no real rest time in between. Breakfast I had the Smart ones cheeseburger sliders which are gross. Then I did my easy cardio 75 minutes on the recumbent bike then ABS. Lunch I had a Special K cereal with whole milk. Looking forward to the end of this week, is witch up my workouts and also do full body fat, body, girth measurements and retake body shots. Dinner I plan to have the Special K cereal with a Special K snack bar. The picture is what I ate throughout the day. I needed more calories so I had 1/2 a smart ones vegetable fried rice. Weight Loss Journey 2013 Week 8 Weigh In

Ladies and gentleman! Here YEE Here YEE! I have finished one week of the special k challenge and I feel good. My starting weight last week with the new scale was 216.lbs and my new weight this week is 211.4lbs a loss of 4.6 pounds. Yahoo. See video for more details. I am a little over 11 pounds to my short term goal.

Weight Loss Journey 2013 Week 7 Day 50 Special K Challenge Day 7 RECAP

So today I did decide to incorporate an off day. I did workout once on my scheduled off day and I currently have a defecit of three workouts that needed to made up. This is also the end of my first week doing the Special K Challenge and I am looking forward to my weigh in tommorrow. I checked earlier and my weight is down substantially. So cross fingers that I do well this week. Looking back on this week the first five days of the challenge were a breeze, from that point i felt weak but I never felt like I was starving and I wanted to die. Don't get me wrong, I can't wait until its over so I can start my new challenge the Jillian Michaels Five Week Abs the her 30 Day Shred. No exercise was done today breakfast I broke down and had Garden Catering and their High School Special wich is chicken nuggets and french fries. YES for breakfast then I skipped all other meals simply because I slept and it help me full. Lunch I had a Special K Protein shake. During my overnight shift I did have a large cup of bland chicken noodle soup and a few barbeque potato chips and two cups of Orange Juice since I feel my allergies have kicked in today. WAH! Weight Loss Journey 2013 Week 7 Day 49 Special K Challenge Day 6 RECAP

This morning started off terrible, I forgot my gym clothes by the time the hour it took to drive home I was so sleepy and I slept on and off til 5pm. (Mostly off). I did 75 minutes of cardio on the bike a moderate sweat mostly at level 12 my heart rate was where I was supposed to be. I got an early jump and weighed myself a little early it was around 8am no food but no cardio yet and I weighed 209.5 which is about 6lbs and the week is not over that's including the Chinese food binge I went on yesterday. So I got a little cocky and got a pint of beef fried rice today too. No bueno. Breakfast I had a Special K dermal bar on the way home and when I got home had a glass of OJ with a three cheese ziti smart ones lunch I coiled I had a pint of beef fried rice with 24 oz of soda and dinner I had a protein shake. Weight Loss Journey 2013 Week 7 Day 48 Special K Challenge Day 5 RECAP

Today was a rough day. This is the day 5 of the special K challenge and today I'm feeling very weak not tired but very weak. I believe the amount of calories that I'm consuming are not matching all my workouts. Breakfast I had special K cereal with red berries and whole milk because I was at work and they did not have 2% milk. Lunch I had my special meal that I normally have on Sunday but this past Sunday was Mother's Day and never fot it. So I had Szechuan chicken with beef fried rice and a 23 ounce can of Arizona ice tea. I don't feel bad about having the needed extra calories although they are not the best calories and I would consider it a not so sensible of the meal but I'm okay with it. After eating later I felt better not so weak and I got a little sleep today. Cardio I did 60 minutes on the recumbent bike after that ,eal so hopefully I burned some off. My energy level was almost back to what it should be. Dd good on my water forgot my multiple vitamin I have to keep a few of them n my car and backpack. Dinner I had a protein shake no snacks. Also opted to sleep in and not do second workout so im down two cardio workouts this week (thats the average)!i have two days to try to make them up we will see. Stay tuned.... Weight Loss Journey 2013 Week 7 Day 45 Special K Challenge Day 4 RECAP

Today is actually my off day but I missed a workout on Mother's Day I only worked I once on Sunday. I made up my cardio workout today I did 60 minutes of the recumbent  bike this am. I felt a little weak today probably because I'm not eating as many calories as I normally do because of the special K challenge but I still stuck it out and did a good job on the bike. One good consolation is that I don't have to do any more workouts today. I plan to do my cardio as soon as I get out of work. I start back to work tonight I work a 12 hour shift and I plan to do the stairmaster as soon as I get off of work. Later in the day I'll do my second workout and tomorrow I don't have to go to work until 11 PM so I will have some time to factor in rest. I am a little concerned about my work schedule and factoring in the weight loss challenge being that I work overnights. I just want to make sure that I don't consume too many calories. I probably will have chicken noodle soup and have a Special K Cereal as back up but I am a little concerned about that. Breakfast I had a special K protein shake and half a banana and again with the banana i split it with my son. So far the special K challenge is not going badly it's going pretty good actually. I don't have a headache today the only thing is I definitely feel a bit more fatigued than I normally would doing all my cardio workouts and I'm quite sure it's because of the lower calories.I don't have a headache today, I've been noticing the past couple days I've had a headache but that seems to be gone today. Thank goodness it's a rest day. Lunch I had a bowl of Special K Red Berry Cereal with 2% milk. I also packed some snacks and a frozen dinner in my bag for my overnight shift in case I get hungry. Dinner I had eggplant Parm with a salad and my multivitamin and water. Stay tuned..

Weight Loss Journey 2013 Weeks 7 Day 44 Special K Challenge Day 3 RECAP

This morning I got a pretty early start on my workout I was at the gym by 5:30am and ideally I wanted to be there at 5am. When I got up this morning I dillydallied around. I didn't feel bloated this morning as far as feeling like I had a lot of salt in my diet last night. I wasn't hungry this morning. I worked out and then I had my breakfast at about 8 AM my breakfast was a protein shake the special K protein shake and half a banana I split the other half of the banana with my baby. I did my hard work out this morning where I do 30 minutes of interval training on the elliptical at level 7 which I think I want to increase to level 8 and then 30 Minutes of recumbent bike at level 12.  Lunch I had a Smart ones frozen dinner and two specialt k snacks. I did my second cardio workout on the bike I didn't do abs today but i will tomorrow since Wednesday's my offnday and I will do one cardio to make up for a cardio I missed on Sunday. Dinner I had a special K with red berry cereal with 2% milk and water.  You'll see a picture of what I ate all of today. Day 3,still feeling good not starving and I go back to work tomorrow so I have a develop a plan that I need to navigate working out and eating on the special K challenge. Weight Loss Journey 2013 Week 7 Day 43 Special K Challenge Day 2 RECAP

So I felt good this morning not hungry. I get a little bloated like I had too much salt. I have to take my vitamin and drink more water. I started the day late with my recumbent bike workout 75 minutes on level 11 and 12. I posted a picture of what I ate today following the special K weight loss challenge. My second workout was fun I did an hour of the elliptical instead of 30 minutes on the elliptical and 30 minutes on the recumbent bike. My new skill came in so now my starting weight will be 216 so my special K challenge starting weight is 216. Stay tuned…

Weight Loss Journey 2013 Week 7 Weigh In

Well my rest week is over with the start of week seven and I started on Sunday the special K challenge Day 1. What I had for breakfast was a special K with red berries and a banana. Lunch I had a protein shake with him the special K snacks chips and dinner I had a smart ones three cheese ziti. Throughout the day I had about 60 ounces of water and a few Ritz crackers and fourTootsie Rolls. This pic shows what I had for breakfast, lunch and dinner it doesn't show the crackers with the Tootsie Roll's but I did good for day one. I didn't feel hungry and I also did 75 minutes of cardio on recumbent bike I did a new level level 13 for about10 minutes I think. Stay tuned...

So today was a total much needed off day. Breakfast I did not have lunch I had two sliced of pizza and two cans of Soda and dinner I had a pint of beef fried rice with a 23oz can of Ice Tea. I had no other snacks at work and I plan to do my cardio in the AM then go to the dentist. This is my six week slacker week.

Weight Loss journey 2013 Weeks 6 Day 36 RECAP

This week I realized that this is week six of my weight loss journey. Every six weeks I normally modify my workout To make it easier on my joints and bones. The way I will modify my workout this week is only workout once a day instead of twice a day, just for this week I used to take the whole week off but I don't want to do that anymore. Just a reminder I have my period this week. During my overnight shift I had a cup of chicken noodle soup, A Jell-O, one bag of baked potato chips and 16oz of soda. This morning for breakfast I had scrambled eggs and a piece of steak with orange juice. I just remembered I had 2 cups of orange juice during my overnight shift as well. I did not do early morning workout this morning but I will do one ore-work workout. I also do not plan on taking my Wednesday day off I will work out one workout in the morning or afternoon but I will work out and not have a day off this week. Lunch today I had two slices of pizza and a 12 ounce can of soda I'm really seeing that during my period week I do eat worse than I normally do I really have to get that under control. This is a picture of me as a negative since I am feeling negative this week I'm sure it's hormonal but I'm looking forward to getting out of this week and getting started new next week. As a snack today I had a quarter pound of Swiss cheese. Cardio I did my prework workout Inverval Training level 3 for 30 minutes a the lifecycle recumbent bike for 30 minutes Level 8. From this day on the bike should be level 8 and the stairmaster should be increased to level 4. Yahoo!!! Dinner I had a Special K Red Berry Cereal with whole milk. Stay Tuned!

Weight Loss Journey Week 6 Day 35 RECAP

So my weight in was affected because of the fact that I got my period yesterday. I have no lunch or breakfast because of my weigh in today. My weight this week is 207lbs I am sure its more but because of my period it has affected my weight. I also did purchase a scale to make sure that my weight is accurate. Dinner I had the szecheun chicken with beef fried rice and a 23oz can of Ice Tea. Cardio I did my easy one Recumbent Bike Level 11 & 12. Thirty minutes level 11 and five minute intevals of level 12. I overslept and missed the second workout before work but have plenty of time to make it up.Stay Tuned. The pic here is the update of all my weight loss to date.

Weight Loss Journey Week 5 Day 34 RECAP

This morning I barely got home safe I was so sleepy. On the overnight I ate alot I had a bag of baked lays chips a small cup of chicken noodle soup a handful of gummy worms and a small vanilla pudding and a banana. Breakfast I had a buttered roll with a bottle of orange juice for a snack I had 1/2 a Gatorade. Lunch I had a plain slice an a slice of white pizza with a 12oz can of Pepsi. Cardio I did the recumbent bike level 8. I bought a good scale today. Will be skipping dinner I had a bag of baked lays chips and a cup of tea.

Weight Loss Journey Week 5 Day 33 RECAP

During my overnight shift I was starving I had a large cup of soup three spoons of vanilla pudding a scoop of tuna fish and half a bag of sour gummy worms and water. This morning I did my easy workout first on the recumbent bike alternating ever five minutes from level 7-8. Breakfast I knew I needed something solid I had a piece of steak and scrambled eggs with half of a Gatorade and water. Lunch I had a pint of need fries rice with a 24oz can of iced tea and a little water. My second cardio I did the stair master level 3 interval training the thirty minutes on the recumbent bike alternating between level 7-8. I also did abs using the fit ball. I'm disappointed in my food choices this week I plan to make up for it starting on Sunday doing the Special K Two-Week Challenge. This picture is me going in in my cardio. Weight Loss Journey 2013 Week 5 Day 32 RECAP

Today is a pretty bad day, I was feeling good about my weight loss and had a picture taken of me and it still shows how much I have to lose. It almost makes me want to give up! But of course I am not going to give up, it's just a brutal reality I have a long way to go. I am sure if I keep up my training I will be much happier 30 days from now. I purchased a lot of items Sunday I will be doing the Special K Challenge. Breakfast I had a buttered roll with a cup of Orange Juice last night during my overnight shift I had a cup of OJ a banana and a orange a large cup of chicken noodle soup and a cup of veggie sticks. Lunch I had a pint of beef fried rice and a 24oz can of Iced Tea. I am proud of my cardio I did it late but I did the bike level 10 for 30 minutes level 11 for 15 and Level 12 for 15 my heart rate was ready!!!! I was not able to do second cardio I will attempt to double up Friday. Dinner I had a small salad and a bowl of Special K red berry cereal. Weight Loss Journey 2013 Week 5 Day 31 RECAP

Well yesterday I got much needed rest, feel super lazy today. Breakfast I had a bowl of Special K Red Berry Cereal with 8oz of whole milk. I am switching my cardio I'm going to do the easier cardio first since I work tonight I can use the stair master for interval training for my pre work workout. My first cardio I did the recumbent bike 30 minutes level 11 and I had to bring it down to level 10 my legs felt good but my heart rate was 160 too high for efficient fat burn. For a snack I had a very small piece of left over pizza and a bowl of chicken noodle soup. I took my multivitamin also. Dinner I had a order of ribs with a salad and water. I have a banana and a bowl of cereal in case I get hungry in the overnight. The picture is of my legs there are starting to tone up nicely. My pre work workout I did the stair master interval training level 3 I did the recumbent bike 15 minutes level 7 15 minutes level 8. Lost my data so I will from now on do level 8. Stay tuned!!!!
